Hide Your Muzzle is a text-based interactive game set in a post-apocalyptic city ravaged by a virus that transforms humans into beast-like hybrids. As Jack or Jenn, a member of the civil defense biological forces, you must conceal your infection behind a mask and make choices to survive amidst hunger, riots and war.

That was beautiful. I have my regrets about the food, but I think I did the best I could without knowing what was coming next.
Yes, you're right! In another case, handing out food to those marauders (in a city warehouse outside the safe zone? I've already forgotten the plot, haha!) could have resulted in a dagger in the back for excessive good nature, which could have been perceived as weakness. The city is in chaos, and many are losing the last parts of their humanity, including morality, including the principle of "good for good." And in all cases, handing out food is also debatable: yes, those people are starving, but people in the safe zone are starving too. Is it possible to share food that was intended for the hungry people with starving people, when it is unclear whether there will be food for the hungry person tomorrow or if this food would save them from the fate of starving.
Sorry for the demagogic rant. In short, damn this blockade and the General :)
